Outgoing Email: 550 BAD_ATTACHMENT Blacklisted file extension detected

Outgoing emails are scanned by our access lists before being accepted.  If a file is attached and ends with any of the file extensions below, it is rejected.  This check is in place because we have found over the years that files with these extensions are often used to spread viruses.

If you would like to send a file with one of the below extensions, you can either change the file extensions or zip the file.

.exe
.pif
.bat
.scr
.lnk
.com
